Oon Jin is the Executive Chairman of PwC Singapore.  He was previously the Leader of the firm’s Assurance Practice, which is the firm’s largest practice in terms of revenue and headcount.  Oon Jin is also a member of the PwC Executive Board for the CaTSH firm, which comprises the PwC firms in Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Oon Jin has been with PwC for more than 30 years. He has been a key member of the firm’s Leadership Team for more than 15 years, and has led the firm through key growth milestones. He has also spearheaded key committees in the firm, including the PwC Singapore Strategies Committee.

Over the years, Oon Jin has built up considerable experience working on corporatisations, initial public listings, due diligence and transaction support work in relation to acquisitions and restructuring carried out by many of his wide range of clients.

Oon Jin serves as the Vice Chairman of Singapore Land Authority (SLA).  He was previously a board member of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and National Arts Council (NAC).  Oon Jin graduated with a First Class Honours (Accounting) from the University of Birmingham, England.  He is a prize winner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales professional exams.

Oon Jin is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as the Immediate Past President of CPA Australia, Singapore Division.  Oon Jin currently serves as a member of the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee, recently set up by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

He is also a Council Member of Singapore Institute of International Affairs.  He was previously the Vice Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Directors, Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and Chairman of the Auditing & Assurance Standards Committee of ISCA.
