Ms. Xu Lixia is the General Manager of the investment management department at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Group Co., Ltd and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Shanghai Shine-Link International Logistics Co., Ltd.
Since 1993, Ms. Xu has served in various roles in the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Group Co., Ltd, where she amassed rich experience in real estate, supply chain services, investment management, enterprise mergers and acquisitions, finance and other fields. Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Group Co., Ltd is a state-owned enterprise in charge of the development and operation of the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, the core area of China (Shanghai) Free Trade Pilot Area. The Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone – with a total development land area of 20 square kilometers, 4.3 million square meters of operating real estate and 770,000 square meters of operating real estate under construction – is at the forefront of China’s economic reform and decentralization.
The company also engages in import and export trading as well as in property distribution and leasing, logistic services and industrial production. As the current head of the investment management department, Ms. Xu oversees more than 100 investment enterprises.
Ms. Xu has an MBA degree from Nanyang Business School (NBS) and was among the first batch of Nanyang Executive MBA graduates in 2005.
The NBS alumna has made significant contribution to the promotion of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) in China. She is currently the honorary president of the NTU Alumni Association (Shanghai), and has served as the president of the NTU Alumni Association (Shanghai) and the founding director of the NTU International Alumni Network.
During her tenure as a president of the NTU Alumni Association (Shanghai) from 2009 to 2017, she led the Council to establish a set of standard operation procedures for system construction, fund raising and event management. She also organized many informative forums, friendly games and fund-raising drives which strengthened the bond among members of NTU’s Shanghai chapter.
In recognition of her efforts and commitment, Ms. Xu was presented the Nanyang Alumni Service Award in 2010.
