Banking & Finance
The NBS Division of Banking & Finance (B&F) is one of the top banking & finance faculty departments in the Asia-Pacific region in both research and teaching. There are more than 15 active research faculty members, including Professor KANG Jun-Koo who had been ranked number one in the Asia–Pacific region for publishing in 21 leading finance journals.
The Division organises a regular series of conferences, special seminars as well as symposiums. Faculty research and international collaborations enhances the curriculum rigour, teaching environment and learning experience of the B&F students, as students are continuously exposed to team-based learning through small group discussions.
The Banking & Finance specialisation offers 4 tracks - the Banking & Finance main track, Platform-Based Learning (PBL), International Trading Programme (ITP) and the Applied Wealth Management (AWM). All tracks prepare our students for the requirements and needs of local and international employers, enhancing both their employability and the roles that they can play to contribute the most to their organisations.
