We are looking for candidates with good bachelor's or master's degree and strong motivation and passion for research.
Submission of application is fully digital. Electronic copies of your supporting documents must be uploaded through the online portal.

Applicants who are presently completing their degree must submit a certification letter from the university stating the expected graduation period.
||Two academic referee reports|
Before you apply online and provide the name and email addresses of your referees, ensure that nominated referees have already agreed to provide referee reports as they will be contacted by the University to provide their reports online. Provide your referees' official email addresses and not personal email addresses.
||A brief research proposal|
A short write-up (approximately 2-3 pages in length) on the topic/idea that you wish to investigate/study if you are admitted into the programme.
||Statement of objectives|
The statement of objectives explains (a) your purpose and objective for applying to our PhD programme; (b) your significant accomplishments and achievements; and (c) your strengths and weaknesses in your chosen area of specialisation.
||Research publications, award certificates (if any)|
Ensure that the electronic documents are clear (pdf/jpeg format). Do not take photos of your documents. Do not also mail any paper copies of your documents.
Note down the application number as you fill in the form. You will need this number for future enquiries or updates on your application.
All academic documents not in English must be accompanied by official English translations. The translation can be done by the home university or any official authorized parties. The translated documents must bear an original ink signature and seal.
Candidates are not required to mail the GMAT/GRE/TOEFL/IELTS reports but they should keep their original copies for verification of documents upon successful admission.
Submit only one set of application. Incomplete and late applications will be rejected.
Please pay the application fee amounting to S$53.50 (inclusive of tax) after submission of application. Refer to this link
for the University's guideline on fees. Applications that are not paid timely will be deemed invalid.
What to expect next
The review of applications usually commences in January and the outcome of application becomes available between March and May. If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted for interview.
If your application is successful, you will receive an admission letter between February and May, along with information on application for Student Pass (for international students). The original documents (e.g. transcripts, certificates, and proficiency score reports) are required to be presented for verification upon admission.
