​Practical time mastery strategies for success

NBS faculty Dr Kumaran Rajaram was recently invited to speak at a webinar on "Practical Mastery Strategies for Mental Well-being, Happiness and Success", organised by the National Library Board in collaboration with Lifelong Learning Institute.

During the webinar, Dr Kumaran and his co-author Dr Eugene Tan shared some pointers from their published book "Street-Smart Strategies for Time Mastery".

"To do well in today's evolving and fast-moving world, it is essential to not only work hard, but to work smart as well. The key to attaining mental well-being, happiness and success is the art of optimising time and managing one's energy," shared Dr Kumaran.

He also provided many practical strategies, such as finding more time in one's life, transforming from being a procrastinator to an action-taker, prioritising your priorities and lastly, managing your energy with a laser focus mindset.

The fully-subscribed webinar received positive feedback – attendees were pleased by how engaging the speakers were and felt that the topic was interesting.
