​Celebrating excellence: NBS Awards

The NBS Awards recognise faculty and staff who demonstrate excellence and outstanding contributions in three key areas: research, teaching and service. 

Research Excellence Awards (REAs)

The REAs consider research productivity, quality, and the impact of a faculty member’s publications over the previous three-year period.  

The winners are:

Teaching Excellence Awards (TEAs)

The TEAs consider both Undergraduate and Graduate teaching.  In addition to student ratings, key evaluation criteria include: curriculum leadership, innovation, and the incorporation of NBS Assurance of Learning practices in their courses.

Service Excellence Awards (SEAs)

The Management Support Officers (MSOs) staff are the backbone of NBS’ operations.  This award recognises those who have made significant and sustained contributions to the school, over and above the person’s core job responsibilities.
