Champions of the inaugural Deans' MBA Challenge 2020

Published on: 18-Nov-2020

The Deans of the top Singapore-based Business Schools from Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU Singapore), National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Management University (SMU) came together last October to establish the Deans' Challenge. The event was a huge success. The challenge comprises 3 key events – MBA Olympics, Social Innovation Challenge and MBA Talent show, organised by NTU, NUS and SMU respectively.

The MBA Talent – the final component of the "Deans' MBA Challenge 2020" - was held on 25 October 2020.  This talent show saw MBA participants from the three business schools compete in three categories: 1. We Sing; 2. We Dance; 3. We Got Talent. Pitted against teams from NUS, SMU, and SP Jain School of Global Management, our extremely talented and versatile MBA cohort performed well and emerged as 1st Runner-up.

Having won the first place in the Social Innovation Challenge and being the first runners-up for the MBA Olympics and the MBA Talent show, this sealed NBS' victory as the overall champion of the first edition of the Deans' Challenge. A cash prize of S$7,000 will be donated to the social cause of the Nanyang MBA participants' choice.
